OUR GOALS AS A BREEDER is to produce dogs that are free of the genetic problems in the breed
mainly prcdPRA, deafness and poor hips or elbows. For this reason we test our dogs and encourage our puppy people to do so too. Only by testing and using the results for the betterment of the breed can we hope someday no dogs are affected.

I am a very strong supporter of genetic testing before breeding. If you plan on working your dog or doing performance it is also a must for the dogs sake. I do think hearing and eyes should be done on pets too so one knows how best to place any uni or deaf pups in the best situations for them. The first few years I did not have elbows rated, that has changed over the past few years and all dogs I test also have elbows x-rayed and rated. The below dogs are dogs we own or have bred that have been tested.
